"Our Valiant Little Angel...We will be Together Forever"

Today we celebrated Memorial Day by going to the cemetary to put flowers on our families graves and clean them up. This time was real sad because it was the first time to put flowers on Kamber's grave. I colored a special picture for Kamber to leave on her grave!

Aunt Julie brought a whole bunch of purple balloons because purple was Kamber's favorite color. We all wore flip flops because Kamber loved flip flops. My mom sewed purple buttons on my flip flops for Kamber.

I never went to Kamber's funeral, so this was kind of my chance to say good-bye. I stood and looked at her pictures for a long time and cried. I miss her!!

Crazy Hair Day at School

Today was crazy hair day at school. I've been waiting for this day all year because I wanted a mohawk that was dyed red. My mom let me grow my hair really long and then shaved the sides. In the morning we spiked the middle and spray painted it red. I looked like a teenage trouble maker.

That night, we went to a party at my parent's friend's house. My mom was going to make me wash my hair before we went, but my dad convinced her not to. I got to go to the party with my red mohawk. It was awesome!!

Rainforest Cafe

During my spring break, my mom took me to the Rainforest Cafe. I had a blast with all of my cousins, but my brothers didn't. Matthew and Micah were screaming because we sat right by a tree that had a cheetah in it. It looked the "mean kitty" from the movie Tarzan. They hated it!

Here is a picture of the fish tank. It was really big! It was actually two tanks connected by a tunnel at the top.

Maybe we can go there again someday when my brothers are older.

Riding Summer Sleds

Our family barrowed some summer sleds from our cousins. We had them for a few days in our garage. Then a few days later, we invited some friends to go to the park with us. We took the summer sleds and went down really grassy hills.

My friend, James, and I got real brave and started to stand on the sleds to go down the hills.

It was the best family night I've ever been to!!

Learning to fly a Kite

When I was little, my dad talked about kites all the time. Now, that I'm almost eight, I finally got my first kite. It was kind of hard to learn how to fly one. My dad showed me a bunch of stuff to fly it. We practiced and practiced together!

The other day, I flew my kite all by myself. Now I fly my kite every week!

Talent Show

This year, my friends, Zachary, James, and Richard and I tried out for the talent show. My mom and I picked two skits out from the Cub Scout web site. After we found the perfect skits, we practiced everyday after school. We had to wait in line and try out in front of the music teacher. A few days letter we got a letter in my back pack saying we were picked to be in the talent show.

It was a lot of fun!! You can watch both of the skits below. The first video is hard to hear at first. I said, "When we go camping, crazy things happen!"

Boy, Oh Boy, Not in my Room

My baby brothers love to go in my room. Normally, they are locked out because I have too many fragile toys that they could break. Sometimes, when they are hitting me and screaming at the door to get in, I let them in one by one. I let them pick out one toy to play with in the other room.

Today, Micah picked out a truck with a trailor.

Matthew picked out a big tiger to ride on.

They are super happy when they show Mommy what they picked out! I love being a big brother for my babies!
